The Pousada Maresia is situated in Atins, a quiet and charming fisherman’s village at the river mouth of the Preguiça river, in the extraordinary Lençois Maranhense National Park.

The beach of Atins is beautiful and unique and has the perfect conditions to practicing and learning kiteboarding.

The isolation, the difficult access and the lack of communications and transportations, guarantee the originality of this unique place.

The Pousada is located between the small center of the village and the beach.

We are at just 150 meters from the Kite spot and the best part of the entire beach , and  400 meters from the Lençois Maranhense National Park.

We have Apartments for families and friends, Suites , private Bungalows for couples and the elevated Penthouse for the more exigent clients.

The total area of our garden is over 5000 meters squared, with hundreds of different plants and varieties of flowers and fruits.

The breakfast “buffet” is served in our tropical garden , where our restaurant is located.
